So with december getting close to the end we look forward to yet another year of the xbox and PS3 fighting for whose best because it totally matters, the PC being less and less relevant as a gaming platform and the Wii getting out performed by cellphones. What were your top 5 games, in no order, of 2009 and what games are you looking forward to in 2010?

not owning a ps3 i gotta draw from the 360 pool

Tops of 2009:
Halo: ODST
Left 4 Dead 2 (PC preferred but i have more friends on live)
The Beatles: Rock Band
Shadow Complex
Borderlands

2010 Prospects:
Dantes Inferno
Dust 514 (still TBA but i'm hoping on a 2010 release)
Arkham Asylum II (still TBA but my gut says 2010 release)
Pearl Jam: Rock Band

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (I'll likely buy a PSP just for this game)

Red Dead Redemption (could be 2010 game of the year if it's done correctly)

LoL, Dissidia was pretty cool the first half hour I played it, then it got repetitive :S Though since I wanted 5 in my list, I put it up there :P And I like one of the menu songs like whoa. Plus Terra/Tina is hawt stuff.

And same as Clys, I almost always buy used games to save moolah, and usually when they go down to at least half the price of what they are new. Shame I can't find Vesperia anywheres :'( And on Amazon/eBay/etc. they are overpriced to $50 because of the holidays ><

LoL, forgot to mention that last time I checked was earlier this month. Haven't checked prices recently; good to know that it's $30, even though it used to be $25 before Christmas :(

Already reserved FFXIII for myself and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for my boyfriend (yay for Lamestop giftcards). Sucks that hecka good games are coming out in March >_> And damnit, freakin' Ass Creed II DLC coming out tomorrow that I just learned about 5 minutes ago :'[ I was about to sell that game, haha; guess not.

Also, C&C4 coming out in March :S March is the month where it's at.

AC2 DLC isn't that special.. it's just more of the same.. but then again, it's only 320 msp

Yeah, at least it's cheapo. Problem is that if I wanted to get achievements on my gamertag, I would have to buy it also even though my boyfriend is getting it and we play on the same 360. And anyway, he lent it to a friend to borrow so I can't play it regardless. Having too much fun playing Borderlands anyway :D
