Tales of Vesperia ~The First Strike~

ToV movie :] It already came out in theaters in Japan October 3rd of last year but the DVD is coming out May 28th this year, which means fansub :D

It takes place before the game, during those 3 months Yuri and Flynn were in the Knights together and even though the main characters from the game hadn't met each other yet, they are all in the movie as well.

I'm crossing my fingers for a dubbed version of this with the VAs from the game, but it's doubtful.

:thumbsup: Just found out it's been fansubbed :D Check out Chihiro-Subs for it; they released it on the 9th of this month and even in 720p/1080p~

Downloading the 1080p version since my TV is 1080p and used as my second monitor for movies and the like. The download speed for it actually isn't as slow as they claim it to be... I am getting an average of 500kBps.

Am still hoping for a dub with the English VAs though (I've seen tryouts for fandubs on YouTube and they are horrible >_> ) as this is one of the few items to come out of Japan that I actually like in English better.

EDIT: Nevermind <.< Download speed just decreased to ~25kBps and has been that way for awhile. Guess I will be waiting a week to watch this, lmao.

Just finished watching it. Cleared up a few things that weren't covered in the game. Puppy Repede was so cute and but the story about him in the movie was pulling at my heart strings.

Overall, it was a good movie, though slow at times. Wouldn't recommend it for those who haven't played the game though.
